How to pray this card
- Who prayed it
- David, by early tradition
- Context
- The psalmist cries to the Judge of the earth against the proud who crush God’s people and say, “The LORD does not see” (Psalm 94:2-7). When he thought his foot was slipping, God’s steadfast love held him up (94:18).
- Pray slowly and gently, bringing their worry to God, who cares for them.
- Name the worry before God plainly, without trying to fix it in the prayer.
- Afterwards, ask how they are, and listen more than you speak.
Close in Jesus' name, and say Amen.
