How to pray this card

- Jeremiah warned Judah that the heart is “deceitful above all things” (Jeremiah 17:9). People mocked him: “Where is the word of the LORD? Let it come!” (17:15). He brings it all to God, “my refuge in the day of disaster” (17:17).
- Ask what they would like prayer for, and pray for exactly that.
- Pray for the people caring for them as well: doctors, nurses, family.
- Keep it short, and send the verse so they can read it when they feel up to it.
Close in Jesus' name, and say Amen.
